I’ll help manage your path to college
My purpose is to focus on the healthy development of a student who is prepared for their future on a college campus and excited to achieve their potential.
You, the student, are in charge of your future, and therefore, your own college application process. Think ahead as we set meetings in our calendars together! Check your email every day, at least once, as colleges use email extensively to connect with you. I offer my creative suggestions for your consideration, my positive support, and answers to your specific application questions throughout the entire experience from start to finish.
FIRST STEP: INITIAL CONSULTATION
As each Consultation is as unique as each student, our first meeting is my personal favorite because I have the opportunity to learn about each student’s unique story and exciting future potential. We also cover the following during the 2 hour Consultation for $400.00:
– Analyze students credentials, interests, and goals
– Explain which qualities admission teams find most attractive, how they read applications, and how they choose students for a class
– Discuss how to create a college list without leaving out important possible options to consider. Early Decision, Early Action and Rolling admission and other possible Early strategies are discussed fully
– Lay out the SAT/ACT testing calendar and give suggestions for best test preparation alternatives
– Provide the student and parents with practical and attainable next steps and a vision for the overall process going forward
– Answer any questions – ALL questions are worth asking!
My Amazing Families
Thank you for helping and guiding our daughter through every step of the way, working so hard and trusting each other made her dream a reality. You believed in her and you also inspired her to believe in herself that with hard work, dedication and focus dreams do come true. This experience is going to guide her and make her dream into bigger dreams. It has been an absolute pleasure and honor knowing you. You are a joy!
This school year at college is coming to a close and I've had the most wild and fun year of my life thus far! It certainly has been an adjustment period having to grasp the idea of having adult responsibilities. However I've learned a lot in the past school year and am making the best of my college experience. I believe that I now have a solid foundation for the rest of my college career, having become very active with the school, acquired a job, joined a fraternity and applied myself to my classes. I want to thank you for helping me choose the best college for me and guiding me through my college selection process. I certainly would have been lost without you!
I just accepted an offer of admission, after mulling it over with family and friends for a week or so, and I'm happy to say that I think I made the right choice. You've been such an enormous help to me while I both played the brutal game and made the brutal choice, although I can happily report that now I've finally reached the calmer waters beyond the storm. I feel like I fought the good fight and made the best decision I could with the best information possible, which is where I wanted to end up the whole time. So at last, and for certainly not the first time, I thank you, Mrs. Coupe, for making my life a whole lot better than it would have been.

Thank you for all that you have done for me during the college admissions process. My parents and I didn't really know where to start on the essays or the college search process before we came to you, and while the school I picked was one that I initially considered as my top choice in summer, I definitely explored a lot more options, and tested whether Grove City truly was the school for me before I made my final decision. I never expected to get into as many schools as I did, or even receive as many scholarships that I received.
