Meet Andrea!
Andrea Coupe is a first-generation college graduate of Miami University, Oxford, Ohio with a BA in Education. Later, she graduated with honors with a Master’s degree at California State Los Angeles as a Reading and Writing Specialist. She speaks conversational Spanish and French and she lived abroad in Luxembourg for a semester during her college years. When she moved to California, she was an active part of the alumni recruiting network in Southern California for Miami University. To date, she has visited hundreds of college campuses, usually on special counselor visits (domestic and international), and worked alongside students from more than 60 different high schools in and out of the United States. She dedicates herself to connecting a student's personality, learning style, and future potential with the classroom experience and curriculum options on a college campus.
Andrea Coupe is a member of The American Institute of Certified Educational Planners (AICEP) that awards the CEP credential to professionals, working independently or in high schools, and is an application reviewer of CEP applications for future members. Andrea Coupe tells her students…
I work for YOU and never stop thinking about how you can embrace your future potential.
Let’s discover the college essays and stories that you need to write. I like to think your personal statement will be an essay you want to share with your own teenager - someday.
We craft your college list together to figure out where you can surpass your high school expectations and discuss how you might combine college-level work with exciting experiences outside the classroom, on or off-campus.
My students use the college research experience with me to learn important life skills such as time management, email drafting, and interview skills, to name a few. Research skills are a key part of a college experience as they will teach you to shift away from reviewing information and instead practice project management skills and follow-through habits that will set you up for future success.
